Cody has been a journalist in Alberta, Canada for the past six years with a one-year break to travel Scotland. He graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology with a photojournalism diploma and quickly earned a reputation as an award-winning photographer. Cody received the national award for best spot news photo in 2003 from the Canadian Community Newspaper Association. He also received an award for best business feature in 2004 from the CCNA.
Cody lives in Strathmore, Alberta with his wife.
